Ideas for the Best Halloween Party

Get your cobwebs and pumpkin ready because Halloween is fast approaching. The spooky holiday is peeking right around the corner and we are here to help you with all the planning. We’ll give you the best tips and tricks that you can use to setup the best Halloween party in your neighborhood.
Kicking off our list is the well-known Jack-o-Lantern. These lanterns are the staple decorations and are recognizable. These pumpkin lanterns are also obtainable today, but we don’t want that, so we will be carving our own. Yes, buying one will be easier, but carving your own is both fun and cost effective for the whole family.
You’ll need two items to start; a knife or a carving tool and the pumpkin. Make sure to supervise the children while doing this activity to apprehend any accidents from happening. Moving on, the next thing that you’ll want to do is look for a design. You can search the internet for a plethora of designs, and you can choose the ones your family likes. Remember, safety first.

Fun fact!
Did you know that pumpkin carving originated from Ireland?
It has been a tradition for over hundreds of years and the original vegetable that they use to carve was a turnip. Irish immigrants brought their tradition in the United States. Then they used pumpkins instead and there the whole Jack-o-Lantern tradition started.
The next one is a party game. No Halloween party is complete without games, duh? Here are myriad of game ideas that we recommend to spice up your ghoulish party.
1. Find the Pumpkin - This first game is simple yet oozing with fun. You’ll need 5 or more pumpkin cutouts and a ton of sleuthing power. What you want to do is hide the pumpkins on unknown parts of your house. Then, have the children look for them for a given amount of time. Better yet, spooky stickers can also be great alternatives. Spooky stickers are way cooler than your regular pumpkin cutouts.
2. Freeze the Monsters - Now, this one isn’t as terrifying as it sounds. The next one is a traditional Stop Dance, but with a twist. Since it is Halloween, everyone that will join are to wear a costume, hence the name. Don’t baffle, those in princess costumes are also welcome to join this fun game.
3. Wrap the Mummy - Are you into fast and exhilarating games? Then this one is for you. You’ll need a toilet paper or a crepe paper for this game. Like the title suggested, you’ll have two contestants on each team. The fastest one to wrap their partner up like a mummy win. This is a high-speed game the best fits your “gearhead” friends and families.
4. Scary Chairs - This an improved version of the classic musical chairs game. This is the Halloween version! It involves new quirks like participants should have a costume to join. Furthermore, the chairs can also use a bit of a transformation to a more ghoulish theme.

For the last one, you’ll want to create impressive invites to hit the final nail in that coffin (because it is to die for). Today, digital invites are the thing and you must learn how to make one! You don’t need a Photoshop degree to do it, scourge the internet and look for significant design that you can copy. But, you can kick it old school and create physical invites.
Creating physical invites are a bit of a challenge, but they are rewarding if you finish them. Here is a checklist that you’ll want to follow to:
ü Pick a devious and grotesque design.
ü Dress up the cards with terrifying visuals and graphics.
ü Switch up the features and add some Halloween flair.
ü Choose scary words and vocabularies.
ü Never forget necessary details, ea. Time, date, and location.
